Manufacturers of popular smartphones temporarily suspended shipments to Russia due to an outbreak of coronavirus in China. This was reported by Kommersant, citing sources among brand partners.
We are talking about the Chinese manufacturers of Huawei with a subsidiary of Honor, Xiaomi, Vivo, Realme, ZTE and Lenovo, as well as Apple, whose production is mainly located in China.
According to the source, the delivery dates to Russia were postponed for two weeks. This is due to the fact that factories in China extended the New Year holidays due to the outbreak of coronavirus until February 10. And this delay can be extended further.
However, Russian retailers do not think that buyers should be wary of a shortage of equipment. For manufacturers, December deliveries were planned taking into account the holidays, both international and Chinese.
