The release of the heir to the low-cost smartphone iPhone SE is expected from Apple for several years. This year, many reliable sources reported that Apple will still launch iPhone SE 2 under the name iPhone 9. Initially, the announcement was expected in early March, but due to the coronavirus and the shutdown of factories in China, the novelty’s debut was in danger.

According to preliminary data, the iPhone 9 will retain a 4.7-inch form factor and some other features of the iPhone 8, including the Touch ID fingerprint scanner in the home button. At the same time, he will receive an updated A13 platform, which underlies the iPhone 11, as well as the “whole” 3 GB of RAM. Due to the new SoC, the battery life will increase significantly.
