Usually, by the end of the year, AMD will release a seriously updated and finalized driver for its video cards, and this practice will continue this year.
In China, AMD GC Partner Summit 2019 was held, at which the company presented its latest – recent and promising. So, among them were the recently introduced Radeon RX 5500 video cards and the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-core processor. We discussed the summit and drivers for video cards.
A company spokesman promised that Radeon Software will be released in December with a host of new features. Alas, their list has not yet been presented, but one might think that these latest features will be supplemented by various performance optimizations in games and the working environment. The Radeon RX 470 was cited as an example of software optimization – in two years of finalizing the driver, its performance in Crossfire mode increased by 40%.
