A reliable source, with a large number of informants in the industry, shared new details about the Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card. It is reported to go on sale next week – this confirms the data provided by a Chinese source last week. Then, recall, it was said about the start of sales on November 12.
The Radeon RX 5500 XT will be offered in two versions – with 4 and 8 GB of memory. Interestingly, there is no evidence regarding the timing of the release of the usual version of the video card – the Radeon RX 5500. From which the source concludes that, most likely, it will go to the conveyors for assembling finished PCs, and, accordingly, will not appear in retail sales.
But something else is more interesting – the source has published details about the Radeon RX 5600 XT! Confirmation of the existence of this model was received from two AMD partners – they are working on their versions of the Radeon RX 5600 XT. A promising new product will receive 6 GB GDDR6 memory, as well as a 192-bit bus. The premiere of the Radeon RX 5600 XT should take place at the very beginning of next year – most likely at CES 2020 in early January.
