Presented in early October, the 3D-card AMD Radeon RX 5500 is finally ready to storm store shelves. According to a Chinese resource citing a well-informed source, the new product will go on sale on December 12.
AMD has already informed its partners about this date. So, on December 12, we will see a lot of different video cards based on the Radeon RX 5500 – various formats, with and without factory overclocking. The source noted that the Radeon RX 5500 will replace the Radeon RX 590, so that the old models, apparently, will be immediately retired, although they will remain in retail until they sell out of stock.
AMD Radeon RX 5500, recall, received 1408 stream processors and 4 GB of GDDR6 memory with a frequency of 14 GHz with a 128-bit memory bus. The GPU of the video card runs at a frequency of 1670-1845 MHz. In terms of performance, it should be at the level of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super.
