AMD introduces Ryzen 4000 and Radeon RX 5600 on January 6

The announcement will take place at CES 2020.
In early January, the CES 2020 Consumer Electronics Show traditionally kicks off in Las Vegas. Many companies are preparing announcements of the latest new products to open it, including AMD.

AMD’s press event is scheduled for January 6th. It will last only 45 minutes, but this should be enough for the announcement of the new generation of Ryzen 4000 hybrid processors and the new video card – Radeon RX 5600. It is the first official premiere that can explain a large number of leaks about them. According to preliminary data, the Ryzen 4000 line will be represented by at least six models: Ryzen 9 4900H, Ryzen 7 4800H, Ryzen 7 4800HS, Ryzen 7 4700U, Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 5 4600HS. All are designed for use on laptops.

As for the 3D-cards Radeon RX 5600, then two models are expected: Radeon RX 5600 and Radeon RX 5600 XT. The latter demonstrates better performance than the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti.
