And Nvidia also gets new AMD CPUs.
Gamer Meld journalist talked with AMD representatives about new products, plans and more. Various topics were discussed, for example, Intel processors, which still use the 14-nanometer process technology.
An Asus Zephyrus G15 laptop with a Ryzen 7 4800HS processor was also mentioned. This is the first and so far the only 14-inch gaming laptop with the GeForce RTX 2060, and there is nothing like that with the Intel CPU.
But the most interesting topic was raised at the end of the conversation. As AMD employees admitted, the company receives Nvidia video cards before they enter the market. This is done so that AMD can test the work of new adapters on its platform with its Ryzen processors. This collaboration works the other way around: Nvidia receives new Ryzen processors before they enter the market to test their work with their 3D cards.
In fact, there is nothing surprising here, but, given that in the field of discrete graphics cards AMD and Nvidia are the main and so far the only players on the market, such a partnership looks interesting.
