For example, Ryzen 9 4900U.
In the new line of AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile processors, there are actually two flagships: the energy-efficient Ryzen 7 4800U and the high-performance Ryzen 7 4800H.
From the point of view of silicon, these are two absolutely identical processors with eight cores, support for SMT and GPU Vega 8 – the differences are only in power limits and, as a result, in frequencies.

Apparently, at least in the energy-efficient line Ryzen 7 4800U will not be the oldest for long. Proof of the existence of the Ryzen 9 4900U APU has appeared on the Web, of course, if this is not someone else’s mistake.
Unfortunately, it is not clear what parameters this processor will have. The number of cores will obviously remain equal to eight. Most likely, the Vega 8 GPU is also the maximum for AMD’s mobile innovations. So we’ll probably get higher frequencies. When such a processor comes out is not yet clear.
By the way, following the example of a pair of Ryzen 7 4800U and Ryzen 7 4800H, we can assume that Ryzen 9 4900H is waiting for us.
By the way, it is worth paying attention to the right piece of paper with a description of the modifications of the new Lenovo Yoga laptops with Intel processors. But the interest there is not the CPU, but the GPU. As you can see, certain Nvidia G3 and G5 are indicated in this way, and it is completely unclear what it is.
