Huawei has unveiled its new 5G-enabled product – 5G Mobile WiFi. This is a fifth generation portable mobile router.
The device is based on the Balong 5000 modem, which provides data transfer rates of up to 1.56 Gb / s. The device is available in two versions: 5G Mobile WiFi and 5G Mobile WiFi Pro.
There are few differences between the models. Firstly, the youngest has a 4000 mAh battery, while the older one has twice the rate. In addition, the youngest is able to charge external devices, giving out 18 watts of power, while the older one reaches 22.5 watts. Also, 5G Mobile WiFi Pro supports 15 W wireless charging.
As for charging the routers themselves, the older one supports Huawei’s proprietary 40-watt charging, but there is no such information regarding the younger one. Prices, unfortunately, have not yet been announced, but they will certainly not be cheap.
