7.68 TB PCIe Kingston DC1000M SSDs Delivered

Kingston Digital has begun supplying 7.68TB DC1000M SSDs. These PCIe SSDs supporting the NVMe protocol are made in the U.2 form factor and are designed for data centers

The drive uses TLC 3D NAND flash memory and a 16-channel Silicon Motion SM2270 controller with a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface, but due to slot limitations, only four PCIe lanes are used. The maximum read speed is 3100 MB / s, write – 2800 MB / s. Performance on random access operations in read and write modes reaches 485,000 IOPS and 210,000 IOPS, respectively. DC1000M drives support hot swapping. They have a five-year warranty. The resource is one complete rewrite daily during the warranty period.
